  THE SOUTHPORT PRACTICE  - 25th November 2013.
There is secure, underground carparking available for all patients free of charge. You will need to bring your carpark ticket to the reception desk for our friendly staff to validate it with a stamp. Whilst our underground car park is easy to navigate, if you are not confident leaving the underground parking, a friendly parking attendant can assist you by driving your car up to ground level for you.

  THE ROBINA PRACTICE  - 25th November 2013.
The Robina practice has free undercover car parking available off Laver Drive with lifts from that carpark to our Suite 34 on Level 3.

  CONSULTATION FEES AND CHARGES  - 25th November 2013.
A consultation fee is charged when you attend Vision Centre. Payment is expected on the day of consultation. We are happy to provide a written quotation for any procedure if required. Costs are normally claimable from Medicare. Costs are variable, depending on the situation and the number of consultations and examinations you may require.

  AN INDIAN CONNECTION  - 25th March 2012.
Vision Centre has provided training for Indian national Subalatha Devaraja who will now assist ophthalmic staff in Bihar, India. Arrangements for Subalatha's training were made by Unite For Sight which is a non-profit organization that supports eye clinics worldwide by investing human and financial resources in social ventures to eliminate patient barriers to eye care. Unite For Sight applies best practices in eye care, global health, and social entrepreneurship to achieve its goal of high quality eye care for all. After training, Subalatha Devaraja is now one of many Global Impact Fellows who support and assist local ophthalmologists, ophthalmic nurses, and optometrists to provide eye care for patients living in extreme poverty. Unite For Sight, as well as being a leader in providing cost-effective care to the world's poorest people, also funds and runs the Global Health University which is intent on developing and nurturing the next generation of global health leaders.
